He!
I've been studying the Lenape for many years and I never came across "Nopi". I need to know if it is being used as a sub-division (or clan) of the Lenape; or does it mean a person whose one parent is Lenape and the other "Nopi"? Example:a person who says they are Sioux- Mohawk, meaning one ancester was part Sioux AND part Mohawk. Are you sure you heard the word correctly? Change theN to an H and you've got HOPI- a S. Western tribe. Can you find out what reservation and in what state or Canada? (They call them "Reserves") I'd like to help. Contact the discussion board again. WANISHI
