Indian Ann was a Lenape woman who roamed thru Burlington Co. NJ selling baskets she had made. Her baskets were not old-style Lenape designs, but ones that would please the white housewives. Example: a large wash basket with handles used to carry wet clothes to the clothes line. She is buried in a small cemetery in Tabernacle NJ across the road from Holy Eucharist RC Church. (I don't remember the names of the rroads). A local Historical group placed a large headstone over her grave. It will give you her dates of birth and death. WANISHI!
