Searching the Web for information about first nations of America I found the expressions like: Tribe, Band, Indian Community, Indian Rancheria, Indian Reservation, Nation, Inc. (e.g. Huron Potawatomi, Inc., Michigan), Indian Village and Pueblo. Could you plese explain me the meaning of these words -especially differences between them? I live in Poland (Europe) and I do not know the situation of Native Americans, their political status and life. I would appreciate any answer at romuald.nowak@wp.pl Best regards, Romuald Nowak.
