The Delaware, or Lenape Indians
were sedentary, relying on hunting and agriculture for their
survival. The Delaware lived in wigwams and long houses,
and had a very sophisticated political structure.
Eventually, due to the ever increasing colonial takeover of the
land, they were forced to relocate West.
